They realized Pubg was doing good so in 2 weeks they made Fortnite battle royale. Since then they have put much more work into Fortnite. The game has skill base match-making so if you start out you will not face people that have played for 1000 hours. You can build in the game there are walls, floors, cones, ramps. All things decoration!

All things decoration! With Anon (202?) By: Phoebe Bonin ’26 Phoebe: What’s your favorite aspect about decorating? Anonymous: my favorite thing about decorating is the fact that we get to decide what we want to do, we get to add whatever we want, and mr. White has to buy it. Phoebe: What’s your favorite piece of decor? Anonymous: oh! It would probably be the projector, I mean I wish we had a tv, but it’s still good! Also the tablecloth! Phoebe: What’s one thing you wish people knew about decorators? Anonymous: That Bruk has a very important role in it. Even though he doesn’t present, he is behind everything. Phoebe: What’re  two aspects of decor that go well together? Anonymous: lights and shiny stuff. Phoebe: Any final thoughts? Anonymous: Thanks I guess. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The student activities club is a hardworking group of students who care about the atmosphere of Friends…

Current Event Corner

By: Hannah Seidel-Nini ’26 Welcome to the Current Event Corner! This week we are covering a couple topics, including Daylight savings time.. not happening anymore? Keep reading to find out! First, we are talking about Daylight Savings! As of March 13, we have officially sprung forward! But will this be the last time? As stated: “The U.S. The Senate voted unanimously to make daylight saving time permanent from 2023—getting rid of the ritual of Americans changing their clocks back or forth by an hour.” Does this mean we’ll never fall back or spring forward again? The Senate has now sent it to the House, further updates to come. The other topic we are going to cover is the most current situation between Ukraine and Russia. As of now, Russia has made an attack on Ukraine, and on Chernobyl. In response, Ukraine has launched attacks on Russian Helicopters. This is the…

Current Event Corner

By: Hannah Seidel-Nini ’26 Welcome to the Current Event Corner! This week we are covering a couple topics, including the Russia and Ukraine circumstance. But first, we are talking about Stephen Breyer, a supreme court judge, who is retiring in June, at the age of 83. In response to his announcement, Joe Biden came out with a statement, saying that he will nominate the first African-American woman after he retires. There are three top candidates for the position, Ketanji Brown Jackson, Leondra Kruger, and J. Michelle Childs. Michele Childs seems to be a top contender among the people, and officials. Lindsey Graham, a Senator, came out with a quote; “I can’t think of a better person for President Biden to consider for the Supreme Court” The other topic we are going to cover is the current situation between Ukraine and Russia. As of now, Ukraine wants to join NATO (North…

Pokemon Day 2022 Recap

Pokemon Day 2022 Recap By Jonah Casel ‘27 Pokemon Day was February 27th, and it might have been the best one ever. It started out with a creepy Pikachu in the background of the President of the Pokemon company talking.  But when it actually started, it started out pretty weak with a Pokemon GO Update for the Alola region. Not a lot of people have really played Pokemon Go since 2017 anyway but the people who do must be pretty happy about it.  Next was an update to Pokemon Masters EX, adding the Victory Road feature, which has many strong trainers that can be battled, like Cynthia, Steven, and Leon. These trainers can not only be battled, players can also team up with them. Finally, they added several rare trainers in different costumes for the game. This update is pretty cool, but again, no one really plays this game. To…

Rain; The Pros, Cons, and Confusions

Rain; The Pros, Cons, and Confusions. By Phoebe Bonin ’26 Hello, my friends! This article is brought to you by Phoebe, your local rainy day enthusiast. As we enter this Wednesday, the clouds are gloomy overhead, and a light drizzle of rain sprinkles us splendidly. That is how I would describe it, but another may describe it as “terrible. It feels like the sky is dying”. Rain is one of the most polarizing topics of modern meteorology, so let’s dive into it. I am going to start with the confusions of rain, these are things that can change people’s opinions on it, and perhaps mystify with its many factors. Lighting and thunder are some of the main confusions. Some may only enjoy a serious rainstorm, filled with the chaos of shining lightning and booming thunder, while others may get overwhelmed, and even scared. This ties into the next confusion, severity….

James Harden and His move to the Sixers

James Harden and his move to the sixers  By: Joel McKnight ‘27 James Harden puts on a show on his debut to the sixers. It was an incredible game for the guard as he did his signature move a couple of times making a four point play. Even though he was stacking up on points his passing was phenomenal with a total of 12 assists following up on the 27 points he had. In his second game he played even better! Putting up 29 points, 16 assists and 10 rebounds against the Knicks. This man seems to be ready for the rest of the season and the rest of the teams the Sixers will play against. In my opinion this was a great trade by the sixers to bring Harden from the nets and give the nets Ben Simmons.  James Harden: Ben Simmons Opinions I know a lot of you…
