The Forest: A Glitchy, Boring Mess

SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers for the video game, The Forest. The Forest started off strong. You’re stranded in a forest after a violent plane crash with a strange creature taking your son after the crash. You pick up an axe and survey your surroundings, maybe explore a little bit and run around with your friends. (Assuming you’re playing with them.) And then you see them–strange humanoid creatures running around in packs, and you’re forced to slash them with your axe, or you run away as you look behind you, anxious they’re on your back. 2019 Overwatch League Preview

The Overwatch League (OWL) will start on February 14. Twelve teams from around the world will compete to be the top team and win the Overwatch League 2019 championship. The OWL will start with the regular season. The regular season is divided into four stages, each consists of ten matches. Each team will play 40 matches in all. Each stage is a different game mode: assault, assist, hybrid, or control with unique map types. Whichever team wins the majority, wins the match. If it is a tie, they play a tiebreaker on a control map. The Title Match happens on the last Saturday of each stage. The second and third place teams compete for the chance to take on the top team of the stage. After the regular season, six teams qualify for the playoffs. Hytale: Minecraft’s Killer?

  If you are not familiar with Hytale, which is highly probable despite the announcement trailer having well over thirty million views, I’ll give you a quick rundown of what the game is set to be. Hytale was named “Hytale” after its creators, the staff of the extremely popular minecraft server “Hypixel,” whose server holds about twenty thousand players on average throughout the day. 2018 was a great year for gaming with such games as Spider-Man PS4, Red Dead Redemption 2, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, God of War, Call of Duty: Blackout, and many more great games. Pokemon Let’s Go Info

Pokemon Let’s Go has changed Pokemon in many ways. It makes it so the player can’t fight wild Pokemon, and that might sound like a bad thing, but it makes the game quicker more efficient and easier. It also changes the process of catching Pokemon and shiny hunting. Now that the player can see Pokemon while walking through the routes, it is possible to actually catch ’em all. Some pokemon are version-exclusive (for either Pokemon Let’s Go: Pikachu or Pokemon Let’s Go: Eevee) so here is a guide. Spider-Man for PS4

WARNING: BIG SPOILERS At Sony’s E3 Conference in 2017, they released the first gameplay for their new game Spider-Man. Spider-Man was then released for gold members on July 30th, 2018 and released for all users on September 7th, 2018. When this game was released, people were giving it amazing reviews; some people even went on to say, “It is a perfect game.” On the website Metacritic, Spider-Man was given an 8.7/10, IGN gave it an 8.7/10, Google Users gave the game a 9.5/10, and GameSpot gave it a 9/10.   Gameplay: First of all, the gameplay in this game is excellent. The best part (in my opinion) is the web-slinging. It is very realistic and has a great noise. Another part is the fighting animation. CS:GO All-Time Greats

The one question many CS:GO fans ask is, “What is the best CS:GO team in history?” Many people will answer: the current Astralis roster or the old Fnatic roster. Game Preview: Fallout 76

Fallout 76 will be Bethesda Games’ first online game. Players may play individually or with a party of up to three others. Elements of previous Fallout games will be present and modified to work with the real-time game. The V.A.T.S. system—a mechanic first introduced in Fallout 3 that allows players to pause the game to target specific locations on an enemy’s body to attack—will be used in Fallout 76 as a real-time system, though it will still allow players to specify targets on an enemy’s body. All the servers for the game will be dedicated, with the player automatically allocated to one of them.While the game is expected to launch with public servers only, game director Todd Howard revealed plans for private servers to be introduced some time after the game’s launch. Howard described the delay as being necessary to allow Bethesda time to assure the stability of public servers….

Mega Man 11 Review

Includes Spoilers Mega Man 11 is the latest instalment in the Mega Man series. It features the new mechanic, and really, the coolest feature in a Mega Man game to date: the “double gear system”. This allows you to either “Speed up”(which is really slowing time), or “Power up” which makes your attacks stronger. There is a third mode after you’re down to around 4 bars of health you unlock Overdrive which activates both Power and Speed and gives a strong attack but after the timer ends everything is disabled for a long time.
