Vampire Weekend “SunFlower” Review

Honestly, I have never heard of Vampire Weekend, so this is going to be a pretty unbiased review in the sense that I have no previous experience with their music or the band as people. I will be reviewing the music video along with the song. First, the music video. The entire video is split in two, with a black line separating two videos that occasionally split into four, or combine into one in sync with the music. The videos are often the same video, just edited or cut in ways so their usually showing something different than the other, such as a different angle of something happening, making it pretty interesting to watch at first. Caution: This entire summary is a spoiler!   Captain Marvel was a fun, energetic adventure of a movie. Brie Larson was the main character as Carol Danvers/ Captain Marvel and Veers. She was a human, but after a traumatic plane crash, she was given Kree blood and Kree powers. After a failed sneak attack against their enemies the Skrull, Captain Marvel takes a escape pod to Earth. She crashlands on a Blockbuster and meets Nick Fury and his crew. The Skrull follows her to Earth and tries to hunt them down. Captain Marvel contacts her crew and tries to get back up to help her. Captain Marvel and the Skrull have a fight on the train and that’s when the movie starts to pick up the pace. Should You Watch Hunter X Hunter Before Netflix Removes It?

Hunter X Hunter is a show on Netflix you may not have heard of. It did not get very popular while it was included in the Netflix library; this is why Netflix got rid of it. Just recently Netflix added Hunter X Hunter back and I suggest trying it out. Hunter X Hunter is a great show with believable characters, great story, lots of funny moments, as well as some intense fights. I loved this show while it was on Netflix. I would watch it every night. I knew every theme song from every season. As you can probably tell I loved this show. When Netflix removed it from the library I was extremely sad, but now that it is back I can enjoy it once more, and I suggest you do the same before it is removed again. The Cafeteria’s Croissant Crisis

English muffins and breakfast sandwiches- the two don’t mix right, but when one of the only breakfast options at Friends Central is to get an English muffin breakfast sandwich, a lot of people are forced into getting this crumbly mess.  But there’s a catch! Seemingly randomly, one walks into the cafeteria, and in place of the bad muffins are perfectly baked croissants with the normal egg, cheese, bacon or sausage in between them. We have decided to investigate this strange phenomenon and get to the bottom of why the school can’t just have croissant breakfast sandwiches every day, instead of these horrible English muffins.   We started our investigation by asking a cafeteria staffer about a possible croissant schedule. From this questioning, we were able to get a complete breakfast sandwich bread weekly schedule. The Forest: A Glitchy, Boring Mess

SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers for the video game, The Forest. The Forest started off strong. You’re stranded in a forest after a violent plane crash with a strange creature taking your son after the crash. You pick up an axe and survey your surroundings, maybe explore a little bit and run around with your friends. (Assuming you’re playing with them.) And then you see them–strange humanoid creatures running around in packs, and you’re forced to slash them with your axe, or you run away as you look behind you, anxious they’re on your back. The Government Shutdown and What It Means for Our Country

The border wall was one of Trump’s first campaign promises, and he is currently asking for $5 billion to fund its building. Trump has also decided to shutdown the government to try and get Democrats to fund his wall. To make matters worse, this shutdown is leaving thousands without jobs,while national parks like the National Mall are flooded with trash because there is no one there to pick it up. This fight is not without reason, as Trump has said on multiple occasions that the south border is bringing in drugs, gangs and human traffickers. Opinion: 8K TV’s High-Def Scam

When I first heard about 8k TV I was like, cool! Yay! Then I thought, how can the tech industry keep increasing the amount the amount of pixels if the human eye has a set limit? They can’t. 8K–what does it mean? The k in 8k is 1000. That is the amount of pixels on the width of the TV. Increasing that means either increasing the size of your tv or decreasing the size of each pixel. The human eye can’t see that much without moving closer and closer so, 8k TV is a huge scam. It is not worth your money to buy something that has almost no difference unless your screen is enormous or your nose is pressed against it. 4k TV is the max, so spending money on this is just silly. 8k TV actually has no content yet and is still unavailable to the large part…

Review: Into The Spider-Verse

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS   Facts: The first trailer for Into The Spider-Verse was released on December 9th, 2017, exactly 11 months and 27 days before the official release. The second trailer was released on October 2nd, 2018, exactly 72 days before the official release. Unlike many other Marvel movies, Into The Spider-Verse is animated.   Ratings: Ratings: Here are some of the ratings on a few websites. Rotten Tomatoes 9.9/10, IMDb 8.6/10, Metacritic 8.3/10, IGN 9/10, Google Users 9.7/10. The average rating all around is 9.1/10   Review: I saw Into The Spider-Verse recently and I really enjoyed it. Flyers Personnel Changes

On November 26th, the Flyers fired their general manager. Ron Hextall has officially been let go. He was been with the organization for over four years, joining in May of 2014. The Flyers fan base has mixed feelings on whether he really needed to go. Some say he did a good job of fixing the salary cap situation when he was hired, and the coach should’ve been fired instead. Others say he did not handle the goal situation and should’ve been fired. But regardless he has been replaced with Chuck Fletcher. Many are saying he is the one who will finally bring the Stanley cup back to Philly.   OPINION: In all honesty Hexstall was a horrible general manager and deserved to be fired. Daredevil Season 3 Review

Warning: CONTAINS SPOILERS Daredevil is one of the best showS ever to be created. The season has a 93% Rotten Tomatoes score, which is well deserved. This show is part of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), which means it is in the same universe as Spider-Man, Iron Man and basically everyone you see in the Marvel movies. Ok, now that the facts are out of the way, time to get on to the review. So, I just finished Daredevil season 3 and it was a really good show. The entire season is based around the storyline of “Born Again” written by Frank Miller. The writers for the show did change the story from the comic a little bit but it worked out pretty well.
