Avengers and Captain Marvel Trailers Are Here!

The new Avengers and Captain Marvel trailers came out during the Superbowl commercials. I am going to be breaking down each of the trailers scene by scene.

Let’s start off with the Avengers trailer.

The opening scene is just flicking through the whole MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), and then it cuts to the famous Marvel Logo. It cuts to three different shots of New York city. They filmed the Citi Field, The Statue Of Liberty, and a long shot. It cuts to a scene of a rehab group and Captain America saying, “Some people move on, but not us.” Then there are different shots of every Avenger getting ready for the final battle.  This movie sees the return of Ant Man. People have been going crazy over this because the ending of Ant Man and the Wasp, he was stuck in the quantum realm. This sequence of events ends with Captain America suiting up for the last time. The trailer ends of all the Avengers walking and Captain America ad-libbing, “Not Us!”

Now we move on the the Captain Marvel trailer.

Starting out with the classic Marvel movie logo, it cuts to Captain Marvel and one of her friends talking. Her friends ask her, “About to show these boys how we do it, you ready?” Captain Marvel responds with: “Higher, Further, Faster, baby!” This saying recurs over the trailer. After this, it cuts to Captain Marvel flying a ship fighting in some kind of war. It then shows her standing up to get an award for fighting in the war. After that, it shows her getting shot by some kind of ray gun. Than a few shots of her fighting in her suit.

Overall, both of these movies seem very good and I am looking forward to seeing them both.
