Juice Machine Recipes #2

Welcome back everyone, it’s Luke and Riley here and today we are continuing our Juice Machine Recipe series. In this series of articles, we try to create recipes using the new juice machine outside of the cafeteria next to the athletic offices. As we’ve said, we hope to continue this series and any feedback or constructive criticism on the recipes would be much appreciated.

If you don’t know about this new machine, it’s called Mix. If you would like to know more about this machine, check out our article from last week, Juice Machine Recipes 1. Now, let’s continue with the recipe.

Recently, a new interface was installed, changing the system’s visuals. However, the options themselves remained the same. If you want to make ‘Bootleg Sprite’ from our previous article, you will see that Step 4 would transition to Step 6, skipping Step 5. During Step 7, press and hold the sugar option. The machine will display a screen similar to Step 5, allowing you to adjust the flavors.

Today’s Recipe: Fake Fanta
We decided to call this weeks recipe “Fake Fanta” as this recipe tastes like the famous soda and yes we know the name is cringey. We used the orange flavor and an apple undertone to get the snap of the sugar in the actual soda. Using apple undertones cuts the sugar but gives the same taste. We hope you enjoy this fantastic recipe.

Step #1: Click the screen on the machine to get started.

Step #2: You should now see the ‘category select’ screen. Press the ‘fruits’ icon.

Step #3: You should see an array of fruits. Choose the ‘Orange’ option.

Step #4: A similar screen will show, asking for additional flavors. Hit ‘Apple’, then press ‘Next’.

Step #5: Choose the ‘sparkling’ option. Press ‘Next’.

Step #6: You should see a screen like this. Press and hold on the sugar cane option until you see a new screen.

Step #7: Now, you should see the new level select screen. Set orange to ‘bold’ and set apple to ‘hint’. Sugarcane should remain the same at medium. Exit by hitting the ‘X’.

Step #8: Press the ‘start’ button.

Step #9: Enjoy!

As usual, this drink won’t taste exactly like the famous soda, since it won’t have the taste of artificial sugar, however it will have a similar taste to Fanta, with less than half the calories. It is still soda, so don’t drink it too much, though it can be refreshing and sweet.
